My application is already dedicated to empowering the lives of LEPs. My parents fall into this category- along with thousands more of individuals that leave their home countries to build a better life for themselves in the U.S. Outside of the LEPs, I feel this application would also be beneficial for busy users who can't always attend healthcare appointments with their LEP relatives. Outside of that- I think this app could ultimately also be beneficial to travelers! My application would include a document translation camera scan to help users be able to scan any foreign text and translate it. 

With interpreters being the backbone of the application, there would be a privacy concern among users causing them to lose trust if they felt the interpreters were not doing their job properly. having to divulge personal and medical information may make users feel exposed. In order to combat such issues of trust, there would be ethical training and confidentiality guidelines in place so both interpreters and users could build a trusting relationship from the start.
